Friends Talk – Acquiring Works for the National Trust, with Emile de Bruijn

This talk, with Emile de Bruijn, Lead Registrator (Collections Development), will focus on how the National Trust identifies work it might wish to purchase.  For example, the illustration depicts Lord Henry Paget, who later became 7th Marquess of Anglesey and donated Plas Newydd to the National Trust.  The painting by Rex Whistler was acquired at Sotheby’s, London in 2017.

Tickets are limited to so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
