Friends of Swindon Museum and Art Gallery

The Friends of Swindon Museum and Art Gallery is a voluntary organisation which promotes and publicises the Museum and its Friendsactivities to as wide a public as possible, raises funds to purchase new items for the Museum and encourages sponsorship for the improvement of the collections and facilities. They are a registered charity (Charity No 1050267) and were launched in 1993 with a talk by their patron, the surrealist painter and zoologist, Dr Desmond Morris.
